Monday the 15th of April 2013 - The Kenyan page of global search engine giant Google was this morning the subject of a cyber attack.
The attack was carried out by a hacker who has identified himself as TiGER-M@TE from the South East Asian nation of Bangaldesh.
At the time of the attack, the Google logo was replaced by a red ‘HACKED’ and a yellow ‘#BangladeshiHacker’ message as well as some other lettering on a black background.

Kenyan’s social media scene is now abuzz with discussion of the attack especially since google has long been perceived as one of the safest sites around.
According to Alexa.com, google.co.ke is Kenya’s third most visited site.
